Panels / Tripping breakers

Why breakers trip after a kitchen or a garage.

The house did not suddenly get worse. You added load. The box stayed the same size.

A kitchen with more appliances, a garage with tools, or a charger on a panel that already felt tight will show up as a breaker that will not stay on. Sometimes that is one circuit. Sometimes the panel is out of spaces or out of amp. I look before we call it a replacement.

It can be one circuit

A new appliance on an old run. A shared bathroom circuit. That is a repair or a new circuit, not a new box.

It can be the panel

No spaces left. The main is the size of a smaller house than the one you have now. That is when we talk 100-amp replacement or 200-amp.

Text the town, a photo of the panel door open, and what you added. I will tell you which conversation it is.

Text what started tripping.

Send the town, a photo of the panel door open, and a time that works.
